OSSC Recruitment 2014 of 844 Sub Inspectors, Apply on or Before 8th Jan, 2014: The commission is going to fillup 844 vacant positions as per the provisions given in the
notification.
There are total 844 vacancies as follows:

• 675 Posts for Sub Inspector of Police
• 33 Posts for Seregeant of Police
• 84 Posts for Deputy Sebedar
• 52 Posts for Station Officers

Age Criteria: The age as prescribed by the commission is between 21 to 25 years as on 1st Jan, 2013. The candidates belongs to reserved category can claim the upper age limit relaxation.

Minimum Education Qualification: The candidates who are interested to apply should have graduate degree in any discipline. The engineering degree is required only for the posts of Station Officers.

Final Selection of the Candidates: The written test, physical test and interview will be held for the final selection of the candidates.

Application Procedure: There are two ways to apply for the posts i.e. offline and online. The candidates can apply online through official website www.odishatresury.gov.in by filling application form online. The offline procedure is by sending application form to the address mentioned in the notification.

Dates to be Remembered: The following dates are very important for the candidates to apply for the posts.

• The online registration starts from 13th Dec, 2013.
• The online registration close on 13th Jan, 2014.
• The written exam will be held on 16th Feb, 2014.
